Last week, an unfortunate incident occurred leaving the Osmond family seeking for prayers and help. Jimmy Osmond, the youngest brother in the family, suffered a stroke during a performance of Peter Pan in Birmingham, England, Thursday, Dec. 27. He was playing Captain Hook and luckily, he was able to finish the show before being rushed to the hospital.
The Osmonds
While most artists pave their way to make it big on stage alone, others don’t believe this and find singing with someone more wonderful. Even more, it is truly magical when a family comes together and uses their talent to conceive a powerful work of art – music. In this case, that is very true for The Osmonds.
This family of talented siblings came up with a brilliant idea of performing together. Originally, The Osmonds consisted of older brothers, namely, Alan, Wayne, Merril, and Jay. And later, their two youngest brothers, Donny and Jimmy, joined in. As the two youngest and the last to participate in the group, the bond and relationship between the two brothers were strong. In fact, they were quite inseparable during those years.

While the siblings eventually grew up, they found themselves taking their roles and places in the music industry. Donny and sister Marie teamed up and left for Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Jimmy found his career in the theater.
Jimmy’s most recent role was as Captain Hook in a U.K. production of Peter Pan. According to his representative, he was excited for the role especially that he was a perfect fit with his charisma and excellent acting abilities.
Unfortunately, just after his performance, he fell ill and was rushed to the hospital.
Donny Opens Up About His Brother

As Jimmy’s best buddy while growing up, Donny could not hide the fact that he was extremely devastated with what had happened. In fact, he took to social media and posted a heartfelt message. The post includes his picture with Jimmy when they were still young. And, he wrote:
“Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers on behalf of my little brother, Jimmy. I love you, brother.”
