The Annies are Officially Back!

Since the announcement of their third album ‘Interstate Gospel,’ The Pistol Annies are working hard on the road to promote their new album. Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley have announced their shows in Nashville, New York City, and Los Angeles.

The trio already had an explosive performance when they performed at the 2018 CMT “Artists of the Year” special last October 17. It was where CMT featured an all-out spectacle of “Women of Country Music.”

“Interstate Gospel” Kick Off: Rocking the Ryman

Their Ryman Auditorium performance that happened on October 25 was a total grand slam. It was totally sold out! It was The Annies’ first full production in seven years. And, everybody seemed to have come out just to see them. The full support of the fans could be felt throughout the night.

Lambert, Monroe, and Presley were the embodiment of what makes them Annies while they were on stage. They exuded confidence, grace, and girl power while they serenaded the crowd with their songs from their previous two albums for 90 minutes, as well as the tracks that they released for ‘Interstate Gospel.’

However, the night didn’t go as smoothly as planned. During their performance of their new song “Cheyenne,” a fan was insistent on moving to the stage even though the security personnel was asking her to vacate the area. This was when Lambert took the matter into her own hands. She personally took the fan by the fan and led her out.

Afterward, the show went on without a hitch. The night closed with a magnificent acoustic rendition of “I Hope You’re the End of my Story.”  Check it out here!

“Interstate Gospel” will drop on the 2nd of November. Stay Tuned!
