From Executive Producer Shania Twain
Nashville has never been more ready to find its next star!
Earlier this year, the announcement of Real Country was made. It sets itself to be a reality show for country music artists. And ever since then, the show has been one of the most anticipated reality competitions to date.
The ensemble of the show is not short of country stars. Graham Bunn will be hosting the show. And the trio of judges is composed of Jake Owen, Travis Tritt, and Executive producer Shania Twain.
The cast of guest judges should also be something to be excited about. The legendary Willie Nelson, Trace Adkins, Wynonna Judd, and Big & Rich will each join throughout the season. More prominent country trailblazers are set to be announced to be on the show soon.
The Taste of Real Country
In an earlier interview about Real Country, Twain had stated:
“I feel it’s time for me to add my own support in finding our greatest undiscovered talent.”
And what a huge platform this will be. She also expressed that she is
“on a mission to find artists who will keep country music diverse and dynamic.”
Owens also added that he saw that
“country music was one of the more prominent healing factors in a lot of people’s lives” and that he “will always be grateful for music.”
This rooted for his want to encourage new and upcoming artists to make their mark in country music, in hopes that it impacts other people the way music impacted his life.
The series is set to have eight-hour-long premiere episodes where soloists, duos, and groups will all have their opportunity to showcase their talents. Owen, Twain, and Tritt will then select a winner from each episode to move on and compete in the finals.
The show airs on November 13 at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network.
