Useful Tips to Boost Landing Page Conversion Rates

Landing pages and conversion rates go well together, or at least, they do if your landing pages have been fully optimized and polished every single part. Whatever your business and whatever your goals may be, the purpose of landing pages remains unchanged and will do so until the end. Ideally, if you want every page on your website to be fully optimized to increase conversions, then your landing pages need extra attention. You might have done everything you can think of to maximize its conversion rate, but despite your best efforts, it’s still not enough. You still get this feeling that there’s more you could do to get more conversions. Even if you’ve already mastered the art of creating high converting landing pages, you shouldn’t be satisfied at all. You should always be thirsty for more hits, more clicks and more conversions

Great landing pages can generate qualified leads and increase sales directly on your website. If you’re landing pages aren’t fully optimized and you aren’t reaching your monthly goal, you might be wondering what’s wrong. It could be because you aren’t directing them straight to the landing page or you aren’t providing them any great value at all. No one wants to miss the opportunity to increase their landing page conversion rates. Here are several tips to boost landing page conversion.

Optimize Mobile Devices

More than half of all the traffic now comes from mobile devices, which means that your landing page should be fully optimized for those audience engaged in mobile use. You already know the importance of optimizing your landing pages for mobile, but you have to fully understand its importance. Make sure that all your design elements are responsive, make your text easily readable without them zooming in, and make your features easy to interact and navigate. If there are several features that are slowing down the mobile experience or failing to display properly, then it definitely has to go. Remember that the best landing pages are often the simplest.

Eliminate Distractions

The ultimate goal of your landing page is to get more conversions. Any other unnecessary functions, information, or several elements you include will only serve to distract the number of visitors you have. Obviously, you’ll need an attention getter, one that will not only provide information to your visitors, but it should also be creative, obvious, and shouldn’t have to be a distraction. Those pop-ups, advertisements, share buttons, sidebars, you need to remove all of that. Keep in mind that your landing page is designed with only one goal in mind, and that is to convert visitors. Anything which doesn’t directly contribute at all is just a distraction and should go.

Make An Offer they Can’t Refuse

One of the best ways to increase conversions is to give something valuable to your users. If you need more leads, then try to give them valuable content as part of their reward. If you’re selling a product, consider giving in additional benefits or free gifts with every purchase. But make sure to make it worth their while. Content that isn’t worth the seconds it takes to download is no use to anyone. It won’t do your readers any good and it won’t do your goals of converting them into customers any good either.

Use Bold Imagery

People are more likely to read a piece of material that features great visuals. Try to put more eye-catching images on your landing page, whether it’s a picture of your product in action or just your team working on something to make visitors feel more comfortable with your brand. Ditch those dull looking pictures with striking visuals that will leave a long lasting impression. People’s attention span is quite limited, but if there’s a particular image that stands out, they’ll be more than grateful to stick around.

Make Yourself Contactable

Research suggests that including a phone number can help increase your conversion rate fast, as people feel more comfortable when contact information is present. You may also want to consider offering a live chat option so you can talk to people who are hesitant about your brand. There’s a good chance that a number of visitors on your landing page will have never heard of you. Anything you can do to reassure them that you’re contactable including your telephone number and email address, will help build  trust and has been shown to increase conversion rates.

Show Reviews and Testimonials

Consumers put a lot of faith in reviews and testimonials they read than those personal recommendations from family members and friends. Include a some testimonials of your product or reviews about your company on your landing page. If you can include them in a video with real people, that’s even better. People actually care more about what other people say. Having a testimonial on your landing page will do more than any amount of images and content ever could. Keep it real by adding real testimonials from real customers.
