It’s finally official! After a decade of ups, downs, sparks, and trials, couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have officially tied the knot!

The fabulous date of the wedding was on the 23rd of December, 2018. the 26-year-old star and the 28-year-old actor gathered their friends and family to their Nashville, Tennessee home for a very intimate affair. A few days later, it was confirmed with Miley Cyrus and her sister Noah Cyrus‘ social media accounts that they had, in fact, tied the knot.

The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer shared three posts from their wedding night and ended with a fun video of her dancing to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk.” What made it sweeter? It was her new husband who was capturing the awesome moment!

Her Survival Partner

Rumors were already circling around earlier that week when a close friend of Cyrus shared a photo of the newlyweds at their Nashville home wearing what a lot of people speculated as wedding outfits while they were cutting a cake together.  This solidified when Cyrus called Hemsworth her “survival partner” in her interview with Howard Stern. She emphasized this, especially when they lost their shared home in the devastating Malibu fire.

“That is why you pair up with someone, for survival, and he was so incredible,” she said. “He got all the animals out in his truck. He put two pigs in crates, which, I can tell you, is so hard.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth first sensed that there were sparks between them when they were co-stars with the 2009 romantic movie “The Last Song.” Since their filming days, they were already dating.

The couple were initially engaged in 2012, but that broke off sometime 2013. But, they eventually found their way back to each other, as Cyrus and Hemsworth rekindled their relationship in 2016. Miley Cyrus even spent New Year’s with the Hemsworth family in Australia!

It’s amazing to see two souls getting together like this. It warms our hearts and all we could say is congratulations to the happy couple!
