In addition to that, other awards that would be given include: “Song of the Year,” “Songwriter of the Year,” “Songwriter-Artist of the Year” and the songwriter member-voted “10 Songs I Wish I’d Written.”
Winners in 2018 included Lanco singer Brandon Lancaster (Songwriter-Artist of the Year), Ashley Gorley (Songwriter of the Year) and the Blake Shelton hit “I’ll Name the Dogs” (Song of the Year). In the 10 Songs category, winners included Chris Stapleton’s “Broken Halos” and Maren Morris’ “I Could Use a Love Song.”
