The headliners for 2019’s Superfest at Ohio Stadium have been announced and country fans across the country surely won’t want to miss out! Mark your calendars, cowboys, and cowgals! The King of Country, George Strait, will headline the Buckeye Country Superfest!
Strait has added another live date to his jam-packed schedule for his 2019 roster. The King of Country himself announced the news via his Twitter account.
He will be joined by Blake Shelton in the headlines. And there will be other big country stars such as Chris Janson, Midland, and Raelynn that will join the lineup on the June 8 show.

Moreover, Strait has retired from touring after wrapping up his farewell tour “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour” in 2014. But then he hasn’t just sat around and dilly-dallied with his time in the years since. He has performed shows in Vegas over the past several years, and he’s extended that performance into 2019 with two more shows for February.
Buckeye Country Superfest
According to the website, tickets to the event will begin at $49.50. But if you’d consider all the fees such as the VIP and Hotel Packages, the highest you can go is a whopping $4,000! Seats will go on sale at 10 AM on Friday via Ticketmaster.com, by calling (800) 745-3000 or visiting the Schottenstein Center ticket office in person. But please note that there will be a ticket limit of 10 per purchase. The VIP packages would include matching VIP lanyards and passes and special commemorative posters and other merchandise. You will definitely get what you paid for with those packages because there will also be a separate VIP entrance, and party packages waiting for you when you avail them.
The Superfest is set to be at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, OH. Tickets will be on sale starting the 7th of December! You can go here for more information.
