The Album

Dolly Parton’s much-awaited album drop is finally here! The Netflix movie Dumplin’ soundtrack follows Parton’s 2017 album “I Believe in You.” The album features amazing talents such as Sia, the legendary Mavis Staples, Miranda Lambert and more! Dolly Records and RCA Nashville produced it.

The soundtrack was released on the 30th of November, 2018. It features songs that Parton either wrote or recorded. She performs every song on the album and wrote six of the twelve tracks exclusively on the film. The remaining six are re-recordings of some of Parton’s mega-hits.

This has been long-awaited because of its star-studded cast and a great track listing. Parton actually appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to talk about the movie and the book that was based on from. She would even joke about her husband wanting to have a threesome with star Jennifer Aniston and herself! Watch the interview here!

She went on to perform a series of Christmas songs with Fallon. Watch the fun medley here!
