The Country Music Association has announced 10 new recipients of the prestigious CMA Triple Play Award. Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett. and Tyler Hubbard are among the winners.
This is an honor presented to songwriters who have written three No. 1 songs within a span of a year. The award is based on the Country Aircheck, Billboard Country Airplay, and Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts.
This years’ honorees also include Jesse Frasure, Nicolle Galyon, Ashley Gorley, Josh Kear, Shane McAnally, Chase McGill, and Josh Osborne.
These artists will be honored at an industry-exclusive lunch on the 19th of February. It will be followed by a concert at Marathon Music Works that will feature performances from Nicolle Galyon, Josh Osborne, Chase McGill, Ashley Gorley, and Josh Kear.
The tickets for the concert are already on the market and a percentage of the sales will go to the CMA Foundation.
