Dubbed as “Country Music’s Biggest Night,” the Country Music Association (CMA) holds its most prestigious annual awards night. Country music artists, celebrities, and broadcasters are invited to witness the awarding of the best in their categories. The CMA Awards, also known as CMAs, are presented to these artists who have exemplified outstanding achievement in the country music industry. Every year, the show features performances and award presentations by famous country music artists. In some instances, pop and rock artists are also invited to grace the event.
In 1967, the first CMA Awards were presented. However, it was untelevised, and the first televised CMA Awards happened the following year. The main winner of that night was Eddy Arnold who bagged home the Entertainer of the Year award.

For this year, we are now on the 52nd edition of the show. The 2018 CMA Awards ceremony was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The show got aired on ABC at 8 PM ET.
For the 11th time, country music stars Brad Paisley, and Carrie Underwood hosted the show. Their hosting skills coupled with their comedic style truly entertained the viewers, and it was a great thing to see them back.
