Blake Shelton becomes the latest victim of stage tumble during a concert. It happened last July 14 at the Pendleton Whisky Music Festival. As expected, the incident didn’t escape the countless cameras focused on the stage. And suddenly, Shelton’s quick stage fall turns into his performance’s highlight that night. Notwithstanding the pain and shame that the incident had caused him, Blake asked the audience to share the footage they had captured as he wanted to see it, himself. His explanation for that incident came as quick as he got up after falling. On his Twitter account, he shared,

“Ok Pendleton I know somebody is bound to have video of me falling on stage last night!! Please!! I have to see it!!! Post that shit! And yes I had been drinking. A lot…”

As it turned out, the responses from the audience and his followers alike came rushing through. When he finally gets a copy of the video he requested, he wasn’t contented and even asked for a closer one.

Then came a fan named Allie Godfrey who was so generous enough to share a clear and close-up footage she had taken during the concert. You can watch the video below which was originally uploaded on Godfrey’s Twitter account.

Other Artists who Fell on Stage

Before the “Austin“ singer, several country music artists had experienced tumbling while on stage. Well, that’s just a normal thing and it can happen to anyone. Even the most famous and well-experienced performer can go through such. Well-celebrated country star Tim McGraw had experienced this fall once or several times before. In 2014, Luke Bryan also became a victim of a stage fall while performing at a concert in North Carolina. Despite those embarrassing experience, these artists bravely stand on stage and continue to entertain the audience.

For Shelton, his falling experience taught him a lesson to be more careful next time and certainly, not to drink a lot before going on stage. Minus the falling incident, here is Shelton’s performance at the recently held Pendleton Whisky Music Fest.
